How does Greek tragedy resonate with the contemporary tensions of a globalized world in the Anthropocene era? We do not aim to question ancient gods or oracles, but rather to examine how we shape and inhabit the world today. Our intention is to reposition the human being within a complex network of relationships: with nature, animals, materials, the elements, science and technology, and the cosmos.
Ancient tragedy, through its ability to represent cosmic forces and universal human conflicts, becomes a powerful interpretive lens for addressing today’s challenges: war, ecological and climate disruption, migration... Can these ancient narratives inspire new forms of organization for human life and its impact on the environment — and the cosmos? Forms that account for life beyond the human and that help us rethink our place in the world?
Through reflective listening, shared experiences, and the expression of individual emotional responses in a multi-sensory environment, we aim at collectively building a new sense of shared and responsible presence.
